| Dittie F. Guise is a nationally recognized leader of the hospitality industry, who has been a driving force in bringing vitality, visibility, and economic growth in the billions, to key cities and facilities in the U.S. She is a champion of collaborative relationships and artful in strategic alliances that transcend disparate or even hostile groups. She excels in building customer service cultures that transform organizational performance. In her newest venture leading International Hospitality Services, Guise now offers her executive level talents to a wide range of clients from convention centers and convention and visitors bureaus to hotels, resorts, cultural institutions, banking institutions, professional associations, and universities.
Personally delivering creative strategies in event planning arena, Guise cultivates and produces conferences and trade show expos that skyrocket bookings, attendance, and revenue. Guise is proud of her international experience with event management, including an appointment as the lead representative at the United Nations Summit in Geneva. This involvement subsequently facilitated the success of an international conference in Columbus, led by Guise that brought attendees from 182 countries. Most recently, Guise was hired to manage an international conference event in 2012 involving attendees from 40 countries.
Guise’s rapid rate of positive transformation made such an impression on the city of Philadelphia that she was declared one of the regions “Movers and Shakers” and honored as one of the city’s most “Influential African Americans in the hospitality industry” for eight years by a national publication, Black Meetings and Tourism. She was the chief operating officer of the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, one of the most vital economic engines of the Philadelphia region, at a critically important time in its progression. She made sweeping changes that generated an economic impact of $8 billion for the city and overhauled its reputation in the industry.
Previously, Guise led the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Ohio, directing operations and overseeing its expansion. Under her leadership, the convention sales team surpassed every business volume goal as established by the owners and witnessed a stellar increase in regional and national convention bookings, along with larger revenue streams. In her tenure with the Kansas City Market Center, Guise more than doubled the facility’s exhibition and trade show business. Guise’s professional background is exemplary, encompassing in-depth experience in virtually every aspect of the business.

Originally from London, England, Guise is a graduate of Chiswick College. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in fashion merchandising. She also completed over two years of course work in marketing, economics, business management, and business law in the U.S.
Guise holds membership in leading industry organizations, including Meeting Planners International and the Professional Conference Management Association. She is presently on the board of the Philadelphia Hospitality Inc., and formerly served on the Forum of Executive Women board.
